Akron Area Ostomy Association at a Glance

A Bit of Background

The Akron Area Ostomy Association is  first and foremost a support group for those dealing with an ostomy surgery and for those anticipating such a surgery.  We meet monthly on the fourth  Wednesday  of the month from August through November and January through May at the Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  We get together at a local restaurant for our December and June meetings.  Anyone is welcome to join us at our meetings.  Membership in AAOA is not a requirement to attend.

Membership Application

Membership in AAOA is not a  requirement to attend our meetings.  If you want to become a member, click on the button below for an application. (Please print out a copy of the application form and mail it in with your check.)

DONATE OSTOMY SUPPLIES

For various reasons, individuals have unused ostomy supplies and wish to donate them to those in need.  To do so, contact any officer of AAOA, or ship them to Friends of Ostomates Worldwide-USA.  Information about FOW-USA can be found at their web site by clicking on the link button below.
